we are all one or none

This month, I had the opportunity to shoot an editorial for Lavender magazine’s annual wedding issue in support of legalizing gay marriage. I believe love is our true nature, and should be appreciated and shared in all forms, regardless of circumstance. I hope that one day very soon all will be treated equally and free to be with those we love, regardless of personal choice. We are not here to judge, rather accept and embrace the unique beauty within each and every single being on this earth.

Shot in St. Paul by Eliesa Johnson and the Photogen Inc. team at the historic, light filled Depot, Lavender brought together an incredible team to capture a celebration of unity in a timeless and intimate setting. Styling was done by the impeccable ladies of Style Architects,  makeup by Ashley Kilcher and hair by Leah Lubbe. It was a great experience, a day filled with exquisite couture and dazzling gems, and an air of excitement and possibility.  The photos turned out beautifully, and I am truly honored to support such an important cause. The entire layout can be viewed online here:
